It’s hard to believe that it’s been two decades since we all experienced the wild 2000s. Many of you still remember the craze around Armageddon that was about to happen as soon as the calendar hit the magic 00s. Well, obviously, that didn’t happen, the infamous ‘Y2K bug’ spared everyone’s computers, but lots of other wonderful things happened instead.

The Matrix trilogy hit the screens, turning our minds inside out with its sci-fi storytelling, followed by The Lord of the Rings movies, which became iconic fantasy films for decades to come. Destiny’s Child was conquering the charts, with Queen B first appearing on stage as part of the band. It was the prime time for Backstreet Boys, N’SYNC, Kylie Minogue, and Eminem.

Not to mention the old-school mobile phone craze, the Brad and Jen obsession, and Britney Spears rocking the stage with a plethora of wild animals. Let’s take a look at some of the rarest celeb photos of the 2000s we thought we’d never see again.

39. Angelina Jolie Shows off Her Abs as Lara Croft

We can all agree that there is only one Lara Croft when it comes to movies and for us, it’s definitely Angelina Jolie. She wasn’t much of an action star back in the 2000s, that’s why her fans couldn’t believe their luck when she was cast to play the leading role in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, a movie based on the game.

To play the role of Lara Croft the actress had to become as fit as her rock-climbing heroine. Not only did she hit the gym, but she also had a very special diet developed to build those gorgeous abs as fast as possible.

Woking out for a role was still a pretty big deal back in the day and not many people would fully change their lifestyle to fit the role. But she did! And the movie turned out to be a huge success.

38. Britney and Leo Have Fun Together

Back in 2001, Britney Spears and Leonardo DiCaprio were already big stars, but fans had no idea just how huge they’d become over time. Did someone say something about “fifteen minutes of fame”? Well, that was definitely not the case for these two.

Britney Spears was in the very beginning of her stellar career, already gathering thousands of people with her live gigs, and Leo DiCaprio was still enjoying the success of Titanic and, frankly speaking, no one thought he’d become the versatile actor he is today!

So, what brought the two of them together? We really have no idea, but it seems like they’re having fun making one of the most memorable selfies no one has ever seen. Yep, Britney Spears leaked this selfie only recently, can you imagine?

37. Channing Tatum Works with Ricky Martin

Everyone needs to start somewhere, right? Before Channing Tatum began landing big roles in movies like She’s the Man, Step Up, and 21 Jump Street, he was a bodybuilder who was just learning to dance. He was sporty and he looked amazing, so maybe that’s why he landed a gig at one of Ricky Martin’s most famous music videos?

It’s hard to spot him if you don’t know where to look, but Channing Tatum played a very fit bartender in Ricky Martin’s “She Bangs” music video. Although he appears in the video for just a few seconds, it took five days to complete the job, for which he earned $400.

After that, Channing Tatum was dancing at a stripping club until a talent scout spotted him and offered him a job. That was his lucky ticket and the reason we can all enjoy Channing Tatum’s talent today!

36. Gwen Stefani and Bono

The 2006 Grammy Awards were memorable for many things, but seeing Bono get on his knees and kiss Gwen Stefani’s baby bump was definitely one of the most heart-warming moments of the whole evening. You might be wondering, what’s up with those two?

At that time, Gwen Stefani was still married to Gavin Rossdale, a musician and the lead singer of Bush, and the couple was expecting a baby. So, what about Bono, then?

It turns out Gwen Stefani and Bono have been friends for ages and the two married couples (Gwen Stefani with Gavin Rossdale and Bono with his wife Ali Hewson) have been seen hanging out with each other quite a lot. Naturally, Bono was overwhelmed with joy to receive an award from Gwen Stefani’s hands!

35. Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl

The year 2003 marked the beginning of a decade-long Pirates of the Caribbean franchise starring Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley, and Orlando Bloom. But the stellar cast wasn’t the only thing that made the movie so special!

With a budget of $653 billion, the first movie from the Pirates of the Caribbean series had a larger-than-life production. Jerry Bruckheimer, the producer of The Curse of the Black Pearl, set no boundaries for his crew in order to create a believable pirate saga.

He and his crew built ships, towns, forts, and of course, the famous cave filled with all kinds of treasures and golden coins. Johnny Depp admitted that it was one of the most intense projects he has ever taken part in!

34. Beyoncé Wins 5 Grammys

Getting one Grammy Award is quite a big deal in the music world, so imagine what it must have felt like to win not one, but five Grammys in one go! It’s a feat worthy of an R&B Queen and we know at least one female singer who could pull it off with ease and grace.

Yes, we’re talking about none other than Beyoncé, the queen of pop and R&B! Back in 2004, the singer came back home with five Grammy Awards, two of which she got for her hit single ‘Crazy in Love’.

That day Beyoncé opened the show with a stellar performance alongside Prince. As of today, Beyoncé has received 28 Grammy Awards, breaking all possible records.

33. Salma Hayek Looks Like a Goddess

When was the last time you saw Salma Hayek on the red carpet? Well, no matter what year’s photo you take, we can assure you that she’ll be looking her best. And Salma Hayek’s best is something most women only dream about.

Apart from being a staggering woman, Salma Hayek is an amazing actress who has starred in several hit movies like Frida, Desperado, From Dusk Till Dawn, and Once Upon in Time in Mexico. She has a wide acting range and performs in all movie genres imaginable.

Frida, one of Salma Hayek’s best movies, was a real nightmare to produce:

“I had to fight for eight years to get Frida off the ground. Nobody wanted to make a story about a Mexican Communist artist with one eyebrow. It was really hard. But I had a vision for it. And I’m proud that I produced it too.”

32. Tom Green and Sisqo on the Red Carpet

The red carpet is usually associated with something posh, glamorous, and serious, but not for these two. Sisqo, a singer and songwriter popular in the ‘90s and ‘00s, likes to fool around more than anyone. But what about his friend with a very serious face?

Well, that’s none other than Tom Green, famous for his shock comedy style and appearances in movies like Charlie’s Angels, Road Trip, and Stealing Harvard. He also was married to his co-star Drew Barrymore for one whole year!

When Sisqo and Tom Green got together, it was a feast for all the photographers. And yes, Tom Green is holding a coffee machine, only God knows why.

31. Harry Potter Stars Hang Out Together

All HP fans love the 2000s for a different set of reasons. Teen stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Tom Felton became the centre of everyone’s attention as soon as the first part of  the Harry Potter movie series hit the screens.

Hermione and Malfoy might have been rivals on screen, but they were besties in real life – they even went to movie premiers together! But looking all cute and glamorous on the red carpet was only the tip of the iceberg named ‘fame’. It turns out Tom Felton along with other young actors wasn’t happy to trade their childhood for money and fame.

Tom Felton was very frank when talking about his years as a young HP star: “One thing that people keep on saying to me is that the wealth and the fame must have made up for missing out on my childhood. But the idea of money — putting a price on your childhood — is ridiculous. You will never get those years back and you can’t put a price on them.”

30. The Legendary Pepsi Ad

Long before Beyoncé became the legendary Queen B, an R’n’B icon and part of the incredibly successful duo with her husband, she was starring in ads and, oh boy, that’s not something you ever forget if you’ve seen it at least once!

The ‘Pepsi Gladiators’ ad featured Beyoncé rocking a fabulous Xena-warrior-inspired attire with an open midriff. Needless to say, the ad glued millions of viewers to the screens! At this point it didn’t really matter whether she was drinking Pepsi or some no-name beverage  – anything would do.

It also didn’t hurt that the ad was shot at a real Roman Coliseum, creating a perfect setting to showcase Queen B’s wild side. She wasn’t the only star that appeared in the ad – Beyoncé was singing alongside Pink, Britney Spears, and Enrique Iglesias!

29. Posh Spice Meets Her Future Husband David Beckham

Former Posh Spice, gorgeous Victoria Beckham, met David Beckham back in 1997 during a charity event and for her, it was love at first sight. It didn’t really come as a surprise to anyone when they tied the knot two years later, welcoming their first child in 1999.

The two of them have been through some highs and lows in their relationship, but have always remained faithful to each other. It’s been two decades now and they’re still one of the most consistent celebrity couples ever!

Victoria Beckham confessed in an interview for British Vogue: “People have been making things up about our relationship for 20 years. But we both realize that we are stronger together than we are as individuals.”

28. Megan Fox Steals Everyone’s Attention by Revealing Her Bikini Body

Yes, we know, it’s hard to surprise anyone with a bikini body these days, but back in 2000 catching a glimpse of a beautiful celebrity rocking her beach bod like this was somewhat a big deal. Maybe the paparazzi weren’t so bold before and the public wasn’t as spoiled?

Whatever the case, Megan Fox flashed her gorgeous forms and everyone took notice. It’s no wonder she was among most beautiful actresses of the 2000s!

No wonder that after playing one of the leading roles in Transformers in 2007 she sky-rocketed to stardom. Of course, having good looks isn’t enough to gain the love of Hollywood, but that’s definitely a start.

27. Wrapped Up and Ready

The Lord of the Rings trilogy was one of the biggest productions the movie industry has ever seen, especially in the fantasy film genre. Despite using lots of green screens and CGI, the LOTR production had numerous live sets and used professional makeup extensively.

Well, some actors had to undergo more modifications than others! In this pic, you see a slightly tired Elijah Wood (Frodo Baggins) all wrapped up like a burrito in what’s supposed to be spider web from the infamous Lair of Shelob in the second LOTR movie – The Two Towers.

Sean Astin (Samwise Gamgee) is keeping Elijah Wood’s company, making sure his friend is as comfortable as possible, considering the state he’s in.

26. Girls’ Night Out

Courtney Love is one of the biggest names in the alternative rock scene – her career spans over 30 years and she’s never ever been un-famous in her whole life! So it doesn’t really come as surprise when you see her with a bunch of other rising stars just hanging out and having fun.

Well, at least there’s one rising star, pop-punk singer Avril Lavigne, and a former Playboy star Anna Nicole Smith, who has been friends with Courtney Love for years.

So, what makes this photo so special? Well, the three of them meeting and casually partying together just seems so surreal! This unlikely trio met at the WMA afterparty in Las Vegas to chill and have some drinks 17 years ago. For some fans, this pic is ancient history!

25. The Infamous Kiss of Britney and Madonna

The year 2003 is remembered for many things – the second movie of The Matrix trilogy just hit the screens, and so did Chicago and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. But for pop fans, it was the year most famous for the spicy make-out session between Britney Spears and Madonna.

Oh, and don’t forget Christina Aguilera, who was also in for the treat! Having three legendary pop divas grace the stage all at once was a great spectacle in itself, but the singers definitely wanted to make it a moment to remember. And we do remember it till this very day!

Yes, it was staged, but who cares? We enjoyed every moment of it and so did millions of fans who were watching the VMAs performance back in 2003.

24. Keanu Reeves on the Set of The Matrix

The Matrix trilogy is among the most legendary sci-fi movies ever created. Back in 1999 when the first movie came out, it was a real breakthrough in terms of special effects and a wild mix of live performances and CGI.

Of course, fans love it not only for its technical prowess, although even today, more than 20 years later, it remains quite remarkably made. Millions of people love the story of Neo as the Chose One that’s heavily spiced up with philosophy and religious references.

Despite using lots of green screen scenes, The Matrix producers built an incredible amount of complex sets. Here you can see Keanu Reeves chilling in-between the scenes with a gun in his hands.

23. Britney Spears Becomes a Tiger Queen on Stage

2001 MTV VMAs are memorable for many reasons and Britney Spears’ incredible stage performance is definitely one of them. We mean, how often do you see a live tiger on stage alongside the artist performing a song? Yep, that’s a rare treat even these days.

Britney Spears might have had her ups and downs during her stellar career as a Pop Princess, but she’s always been nothing short of fearless when it came to performing on stage. Most of you probably remember her dancing with a huge white python, but this tiger appearance often goes unnoticed for some reason.

Back in the day Britney Spears would do anything to create a perfect performance that would impress her fans. Well, we believe that part of her hasn’t changed at all!

22. Mariah Carrey’s Hello Kitty Bathroom

It seems that Mariah Carrey made every 90s kid dream come true. Wouldn’t you want to live in a house with a whole room (or in this case, a bathroom) dedicated to Hello Kitty? Well, you may not want it now, but it’s definitely something that would have driven most kids crazy a few decades ago.

Hello Kitty is still as popular as it was in the 90s, maybe even more. So, why did Mariah Carrey build a whole bathroom dedicated to the cartoon kitty? Just like most people, she’s just a huge Hello Kitty fan.

Mariah Carey owns a humongous home in the Tribeca district of New York with so many bathrooms that she actually doesn’t even know how many she’s got. That’s one of the perks of being a celebrity!

21. Keira Knightley being Part of the Pirate Gang

Right now we all know that Keira Knightley is an amazing actress, but back when she was cast to play Elizabeth Swann in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl the actress was just a 17-year-old teenager. Can you believe this?

Looking at her perform we can only marvel at how talented and professional she is. Still, being a girl surrounded by pirates and sword-wielding men, she wanted to play with weapons herself, constantly asking whether she’ll be allowed to get a sword and use it.

Well, we know that eventually, she did! And not only that, she became a bit of a pirate herself mingling with the likes of Jack Sparrow and his crew. Of course, filming the movie was no easy task and Keira Knightly was in and out of the water all the time. She even survived a real shipwreck!

20. Agent Smith and Neo Hang Out Together

What seems like a random pic of two guys chilling together is actually a legendary photo of Agent Smith and Neo from The Matrix finally putting all their differences aside and enjoying a good laugh. If you know anything about The Matrix, then you know just how amazing this moment is!

But all jokes aside, it’s such a cool thing to see two arch-enemies just casually chatting with each other. In real life, Keanu Reeves and Hugo Weaving are good friends and had lots of great moments on set.

Both of them underwent strict training regimes learning martial arts and getting fit for their roles, so the hard work brought the two actors even closer together.

19. Scarlett Johansson Flashes Her New Ink

Scarlett Johansson has been on everyone’s favourite actress list long before she got into the Marvel Comics Universe. She has starred in a bunch of indie movies back in the day, starting her acting career quite early. Maybe that’s why she has such a wild spirit?

Scarlett Johansson is famous for her acting skills, boldness, and unforgiving attitude towards sexism in the movie industry, which she has seen quite a lot being a young beautiful actress working in Hollywood.

Sophia Coppola, who worked with Johansson filming Ghost World when the actress was just 17 years old, was completely taken aback by her.

“There was some quality about her that stood out and I connected with. She’s able to convey a lot without saying anything. I had a feeling about her. I wasn’t surprised she went on to do lots of different things after but I’m surprised when I look back at how young she was.”

18. An Old Friends’ Meeting

How often do you see Seth Green, Macaulay Culkin, and Lindsay Lohan in one photo? This is definitely a rare sight, especially knowing that Seth Green likes to poke fun at Lindsay Lohan whenever he has a chance.

Well, maybe things were a bit different back in 2004 when this photo was taken. The trio met at the premiere of Saved, a coming of age comedy mocking the fake overzealous Christians and what they do in the name of faith (especially when it comes to high school relationships).

This is one of the few movies Macaulay Culkin starred in after his amazing performances in the Home Alone films. We thought we’d never see him on the big screen again!

17. Paris Hilton and Kim K Hang Out Together on the Beach

You’d never suspect Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton to be best friends now, but they used to hang out together quite a lot back in the day. Maybe it’s a socialite girl kind of thing? Unite, chill together, and get even more attention than you would by going on a vacation all alone.

In fact, this photo was taken long before Kim Kardashian made a name for herself, so it was only natural to see her mingle with famous people. Not only did she spend time with Paris Hilton, she also worked as her assistant for some time!

Can you imagine Kim Kardashian organizing someone else’s wardrobe and doing shopping for someone other than herself? Well, that was exactly what she was doing back in the 2000s working for Paris Hilton.

16. Mike Tyson Gets His Iconic Tattoo

Mike Tyson is one of the biggest boxing stars ever, but we rarely think what a tumultuous life he’s led. Having risen to fame in 1992 he then went to jail for six long years and returned quite a different man.

In 1997, he infamously bit a piece of Evander Holyfield’s ear and things weren’t going quite well for him after that. When Mike Tyson went to his fellow tattoo artist Victor Perez he wanted to get some hearts onto his face!

Mike Tyson described how it all happened in an interview: “I said ‘what do you think I should get? Because I was confused.’ Victor Perez is a good guy and said ‘come back in a couple of days I’m going to try and write up some stuff.’ I waited around and two days later he called and said ‘Mike, I’ve got some tribal stuff’. I said ‘woah, put another one over there.”

15. Carson Daly, Eve, and Computers

The ‘00s were the time best remembered for the TRL (Total Request Live) show. With no YouTube around to watch our favourite music videos, this was one of the most-watched TV shows loved by both teens and adults.

The show also hosted all kinds of stars doing various things, which brought even more viewers to the screens. Here you can see TV host Carson Daly and rapper Eve struggling to work on computers.

Nowadays even a preschooler knows how to do stuff on a laptop, but in the early 2000s computers were still something not all people knew how to work with. We believe Carson Daly is doing fine, but it seems that Eve simply gave up – the look on her face is dreary!

14. House’s and The O.C.’s Real Life Couples Hang Out Together

Seriously, how cool is that? Jennifer Morrison and Jeff Spencer were so smitten with each other on screen that they actually fell in love in real life as well! Of course, fans couldn’t be happier to see them date both on and off screen.

But the fans of The O.C. were just as ecstatic because their favourite Adam Brody and Rachel Bilsen have also fallen for each other in real life as well as on screen. To make matters even more interesting, the two couples decided to hang out together.

Ah, those were the golden days of both Reality TV and amazing TV Shows that we could’ve binge-watched for hours, but had to do everything the old way, just watching episode after episode on TV every day.

13. Mark Zuckerberg Takes the World by Storm with Facebook

Can you even imagine the life before Facebook? What were people doing all day with all that free time and no news feed to scroll through? We may argue about the pros and cons of having Facebook in our lives, but when this social platform just appeared it was a huge hit.

In 2004, a 19-year-old social media genius was explaining in a TV interview how he just wanted to make one place where people could find interesting info about their friends. Sounds quite innocent, right? Soon Facebook made Mark Zuckerberg the youngest billionaire in history!

“I just figured it would be really cool if there was some website that I could go to that would tell me a bunch of information about my friends and the people around me,” – this was the very simple idea behind Zuckerberg’s creation.

12. Nokia Becomes the “It” Phone for Years to Come

Nokia might seem like the thing of the past now, but back in 2007, it was a hit. We mean, that battery life alone was a game-changer! And don’t get us starting on that Nokia 3310 snake game, it was sooo amazing to have it right on your phone.

Forbes named Nokia the Cell Phone King for a reason – it attracted billions of customers after releasing their famous flip phones. Those looked deliciously stylish and were much smaller than most of the phones on the market during that time.

Just look at Carrie Bradshaw happily flaunting her stylish little phone! Back then it was considered such a luxury that even celebs liked to show off their little cell phones whenever they had the chance. Of course, simply using them was one of the easiest ways to do it.

11. Peter Jackson Gets All Excited About Filming the LOTR Movies

Can you really blame the guy for looking like a 5-year-old excited to hold a fantasy weapon on the set of The Lord of the Rings? If we were in his shoes, we’d be feeling the same way!

Seeing the LOTR trilogy alive on the big screen has been every die-hard fantasy fan’s dream for ages, and Peter Jackson was one of those few men who could actually make it come true.

“I’d wanted to get away from horror and do a fantasy film like the Jason and the Argonauts/Sinbad type of films, but do them with computer effects so that the technology advances. For a little while, I thought about doing an original fantasy film. But then Lord of the Rings was on my mind and I started to wonder, why hasn’t anybody made a live-action Lord of the Rings?”

10. Christina Aguilera’s Cool Piercing

Back in the 2000s, Christina Aguilera was always pegged as the ‘bad girl’, while Britney Spears was always called a little angel by the critics. Both women hit it big with their singing careers and both simply wanted to be themselves.

Well, doing whatever you wanted was a luxury not many stars could afford back in the day and Christina Aguilera was definitely one of them. Acting like herself was what earned her the ‘bad girl’ badge in the first place!

Christina Aguilera confessed that she had to play a role most of the time at the beginning of her singing career: “It’s hard to hear yourself being called names. I remember being hurt by these commercials on MTV, pitting Britney as the good girl and me as the bad girl. It’s like, if I’m going to be demure and innocent, that’s okay. But if I’m going to just be myself, I’m trouble.”

9. Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’s Relationship Drama

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were the power couple of the ’90s. When two superstars got together fans couldn’t believe their luck – it was too good to be true! The ‘It’ couple officially got together in 1999 and had a wedding just a few months later.

Things went well for some time, but then Brad Pitt met Angelina Jolie on the set of the movie they were doing together – Mr and Mrs Smith. Rumors began to circulate that the two of them have fallen for each other, and not long after Brad Pitt and Jennifer Anniston filed for divorce. While fans believe Brad Pitt might have cheated on his wife, the couple released a statement saying otherwise.

“We would like to announce that after seven years together we have decided to formally separate. For those who follow these sorts of things, we would like to explain that our separation is not the result of any of the speculation reported by the tabloid media.”

8. A Celebrity Moment at the Photo Booth on Times Square

How often do you see Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, and Lil Kim all hang out together, having fun while chatting and taking selfies? Well, that’s a pretty rare sight and we don’t think that the three of them ever got together like that after the memorable moment they shared at the TRL photo booth.

MTV Studios is probably the only reason that could gather the three of them despite their busy schedules. But when they showed up, it was the most fun and happy event for everyone!

TRL or Total Request Live was an MTV show back in the 2000s when there was no YouTube to go to and watch whatever music video you liked. People had to do it the old-school way – by watching TV! Its timing was perfect and school kids could enjoy their favourite videos right after school.

7. Missy Elliot Wearing a Trash Bag and Looking Like a Queen

There are many reasons behind celeb’s stage outfits, but most of the time they just want to stand out and break a few rules here and there. Missy Elliot started experimenting with her look long before it became a trend!

Missy Elliot’s inflatable suit looked like something a grandma would wear on a rainy day. Seriously, though, have you seen those brave women rock huge trash bags instead of rain covers back in the day? They looked rad.

Well, this wasn’t the case with Missy Elliot, of course. For her, it was both a bold fashion statement and a way to distract everyone from her shyness.  When talking about her outfit Missy Elliot confessed: “Although I am shy, I was never afraid to be a provocative woman. The outfit was a symbol of power.”

6. First Cell Phones with Built-In Cameras

In the 2000s the world was still pretty much analogue, so having built-in digital cameras in brand new cell phones was kind of a big deal. Yes, those pics were small and of poor quality, but imagine having that when most of the photos were still printed out from film and kept in huge family albums!

Some of the first models that offered users built-in cameras were Nokia 7650 and J-SH04. Now it seems that we’ve had touchscreen smartphones forever, but these little cell phones were produced just two decades ago, in 2003.

In the photo, Cameron Diaz is happily testing her brand new cell phone with a built-in camera. No wonder she looks happy as a kid!

5. The Paris Hilton Craze

Even before Kim Kardashian got all big with her career as a socialite, the world was taken by storm by none other than Paris Hilton herself. Everyone hated it, but it was happening nonetheless. After a certain sex tape got leaked into the Internet, everyone got to know who Paris Hilton was.

As a result, she sued her ex-boyfriend who did the whole thing and got herself a hefty sum of money for all the inconvenience she experienced. After that Paris Hilton has kind of been around without actually doing anything, just hanging out with celebs.

Paris Hilton once admitted: “I never made a dollar. I make enough money in nice ways. My fragrance makes enough, I don’t need to worry about that.”

4. Back When Kendall and Kylie Jenner Were Just Kids

Can you believe it’s been two decades already? Seems like not that big of a deal, but then you see a photo of Kendall and Kylie Jenner from 2000 and realize that time has gone by real fast. Yes, this is what Kendall and Kylie looked like 21 years ago!

They were two ordinary girls just having fun at home, dressing up for Halloween. Little did they know that two decades later each of them would become a huge celebrity with thousands of people watching their every step. Well, it’s the Kardashian clan we’re talking about, after all.

Back then Kendall was struggling to make friends and was really upset she wasn’t as popular as little Kylie. Well, now she definitely has lots of friends, maybe even too many!

3. Keanu Reeves Chills in France Between The Matrix Movie Shootings

Keanu Reeves is one of those celebrities that looks like a cool guy chilling no matter where he goes. He’s just a genuinely good person and it really shows! The Matrix movie shooting schedule was intense, but the actor still needed some time off to relax a bit.

Keanu Reeves admitted that playing Neo was no easy task – he had to train like crazy so he could move like a pro martial artist. In an interview, the actor confessed that it’s been the hardest he has ever trained in his entire life.

“I know that they want me to do five [people]. Which is master. That’s the real deal. If you can fight five people, that’s Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee stuff. So you need a whole other technique for that. You need a whole other level of proficiency.”

2. Lindsay Lohan being Under House Arrest

If you know anything about Lindsay Lohan it’s that she’s had quite a tumultuous career as well as life in general. Back in 2003, she was accused of stealing a $2,500 necklace but was never sent to jail. Instead, she got to spend some time under house arrest in her very own home, which wasn’t all that bad by the looks of it.

Of course, wearing such an ankle bracelet can’t be too much fun, but it’s definitely better than going to jail!

The actress started her acting career as a Disney star starring in The Parent Trap, so we’re really wondering what went wrong after that. Her success with the Mean Girls also didn’t last long, overshadowed by her drug abuse and alcohol problems.

1. Orlando Bloom Transforms into an Elf

The 2000s were the years when the fantasy genre was taken seriously by everyone probably for the first time in decades. There have been fantasy movies before, but none of them came close to the scale and grandeur of The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

The special effects, the cast, the scenery, and the storytelling based on the books by J. R. R. Tolkien were all top-notch, high-quality movie stuff. Years later, on the 10th anniversary of the first movie, Orlando Bloom who played Legolas in the trilogy, leaked some never-seen-before photos from the set.

As you can see, filming the LOTR was both hard and incredibly fun judging by the photo. Every day actors had to transform into mythical creatures – elves, dwarves, and wizards to create the magical world of the Middle-Earth.1
